SOUTHEASTERN REGIONAL TRANSIT AUTHORITY
1.The Authority is replacing the HVAC systems at the Fall River and New Bedford Mainenance Facilities. The current were over 30 years old and very inefficient, unreliable requiring constant repair. The new syetem will lower operating costs and reduce the carbon foorprint of SRTA. When completed the job will have utulized $305,000. 2. The Authority has upgraded the existing the TRAPEZZE software with a newer version. The new software is used to operate ADA Demand Response service. The new systen will allow us improve operating efficiency. It will utilized $32,000 of ARRA Funding. 3. The Authority has replaced 6 demand Response vans. These vines replace 2 1999 Aeroterch and 4 2000 Aerotech vehicles that have reached the end of their useful life.The vehicles were purchased with $360,000. 4. Purchase of 4 29 ft. buses that were delivered in theSpring of 2010 they are replacing 1995 buses that have outlived their life.
