We have expended the final quarter of funding necessary to retain the four redeployed officers through this grant opportunity. After final qtr, there is a balance of $175,828.29 remaining that cannot be utilized by our department. The 2012 2nd qtr was not the final quarter due to total amt utilized not indicated. This will be the final quarterly report for this grant. |

We have continued the community policing efforts of our redeployed officers, who had been reassigned at the beginning of fiscal year 2010 due to reduced forces (layoffs,transfers). We reinstated a school resource officer (1), increased our drug suppression unit (2), and increased our traffic unit (1), totalling 4 redeployments. Each of these departments have high community policing outreach efforts. |
