Four officers have completed their field training and are performing their duties as solo officers. Due to continued unfunded vacancies, having these four officers hired through this COPS program has allowed the department to assign these officers to one of three uniform platoons. Officers are engaged in uniformed patrol, answering calls for service, and assisting citizens in problem-solving and problem resolution. The agency is actively engaged in the communtiy to strengthen ties, build trust, and problem solve by being active in various community groups. |
