Quarterly Activities/Project Description	Five of the Officers hired under this grant are assigned to the Third Platoon and one is assigned to the Second Platoon.All of them are working in the Patrol Division and perform all duties vested in them by this Agency, the Municipality and the laws of the State of Rhode Island. On a daily basis these officers are assigned to Patrol Districts in areas deemed to be in need of more focused attention to combat criminal activity. This is accomplished through the use of partnerships with the police, business community and general public via the Community Policing philosophy the Pawtucket Police continue to embrace. Officers are more in tune with the needs of these Districts by gaining knowledge through personal contact and crime watch meetings
