All funds expended. In process of closeout with US Dept of Housing & Urban Dev. Project 1: City of Seminole/SIGMA: $1.0 million award for water improvements for company expansion. Create 40 jobs with 21 jobs being made available to LMI persons. Construction is complete and all funds drawn. 4 jobs created to date. Project 2: Woods County/Sandridge Energy: $1.0 million award 5/15/11 for rail spur. Create 12 jobs with 8 jobs being made available to LMI persons. Construction Contract Awarded 6/11/12. All funds drawn and no jobs reported to date. Project 3:City of Sayre/C&J Energy Services: Award $979,835 for water & sewer improvements for expansion of company--Create 90 new jobs with 66 jobs being made available to LMI persons-Construction Complete $896.50 funds back to HUD 97 jobs created. Project 4: City of McAlester/Sabre Defence Company changed priorities & will not be locating in McAlester. This project has been replaced with the City of Woodward/Siemens Energy - The grant request of $1,000,000 is for rehab of a publicly owned building & to create 38 jobs with 20 jobs for low and moderate income persons. Award on 6/15/11. Construction complete-17 jobs reported to date. Project 5: City of Stroud/Mint Turbines: Award $203,267 of CDBG funds to build publicly owned building for expansion of company. The City also requested $1.0 million in regular CDBG-EDIF funds to complete publicly owned building for this expansion. Create 35 total jobs with 29 to low and moderate income persons. 100% funds drawn project complete 6 jobs committed to stimulus funds & all 6 created stimulus funds project to close out in May 2012 |
