Fleishman-Hillard completed work on the contract for the adolescent immunization education campaign. The campaign generated a good deal of interest from a number of sources. The campaign included a public service announcement (PSA) that aired throughout Ohio during the prime fall viewing period. A large number of donated spots were received for each paid spot. The campaign, titled Spread the Word, Not the Disease Get Vaccinated also has its own Facebook and Twitter sites. An adolescent immunization webinar has been developed and is now available to health care providers. The webinar provides information on adolescent vaccines and offers CME and CNE credits for providers completing the course.
The ODRS/Hepatitis Perinatal Prevention project has been completed. Several enhancements were made in response to user recommendations.
The ImpactSIIS module billing module has been completed. The module will allow local health departments to create a batch file that can then be sent to a health insurance company in order to be reimbursed for administered vaccines.
The Peer Advocate projects in Columbus and Summit County have concluded. |
