WICOMICO COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY
The main use of these funds is to rehabilitate Public Housing Units and provide site improvements. 9 trees that have been causing potential trip hazards have been removed. A seventy-five unit apartment building for elderly and disabled will have its exterior brick surface "pointed up" to improve its structural integrity and curb appeal. Over 60 units are targeted to be rehabilitated mostly with force account labor. However, 30 of these units are to be competed by Request for Proposals (RFP). An architectural firm has been hired to provide a formal specification and construction drawings for the RFP.
