Two student researchers at CSU and UOP have continued their development of a website on black hole physics for high school students. The construction of the website is still being refined, and one of the student researchers has been troubleshooting the design, and will be seeking feedback from local high schools in the near future. The website includes a powerpoint presentation with animation and narration developed by the principal investigators. This was presented to a group of engineering majors at San Joaquin Delta College in December. There are plans to give further presentations to local high schools this spring. The purpose of the website is to encourage students in local schools to consider a career in physics. The powerpoint presentation will be packaged in DVD format and distributed to science teachers at local high schools.
