| Quarterly Activities/Project Description |
This grant was approved in April 14 of 2009. A total of $6,250,809.76 of ARRA federal funds were awarded to the Puerto Rico Highway and Transportation Authority (PRTHA), through the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The project consisted of the replacement of Bridge #763, at state road PR-2, Km. 127.4 (PR-2 Access) in the municipality of Aguadilla. The bridge needed replacement due to its deficient structural condition. A total of 0.79 kilometers of roadway were improved with these Recovery funds. The replacement did not add additional vehicular capacity to the existing highway. The project was successfully completed in the year 2012. |
