Description of Jobs Created
The following types of jobs were ARRA funded in Q3: Laborer and equipment operator. A team of eleven people, some part-time, worked on the project in July and August. To prepare this estimate a Job Impact Assessment team gathered information on job impact within the organization and from groups that received ARRA funds. The potential job creator list was established by brainstorming based on the question: Who might have used the funds we gave them to create or retain jobs? The team gathered information on the normal length of a work week, dates of employment for new hires, and notes on jobs that were saved with ARRA funds. Jobs creation outside the United States was not considered. The FTE was then determined. The ARRA job impact was calculated following the Office of Management and Budget guidance in OMB Memorandum M-10-08.
