MUNICIPO DE GUAYAMA
The community development block grant-recovery (CDBG-R) program will enable the grantee to undertake eligible activities intended to create suitable
living enrivonments, provide decent affordable housing and create economic opportunities, primarily for persons of low and moderate income. Through
this project, the Municipality of Guayama will provide assistance to low income families for the installation of solar powered water heating systems in housing units. The goal of this program is to increase energy efficiency and to reduce the energy utility burden of low income families as their quality of life is improved. The project seeks to increase the energy efficiency of its low income population.
