HRSA ARRA CIP Implementation of Electronic Health Records at the St Paul Health Center. This will address the communities need for care coordination and access to immediate patient information. It will enhance the Health Centers effectiveness by giving local, itinerant and Anchorage based providers immediate access to patient records, including medications, radiological exams, and behavioral health history. Quality of care will improve by implementation of the EHR, care coordination by all providers will improve with the elimination of the need to prepare, package and send paper chart information. Patients can be more effectively tracked and patient outcomes will be enhanced. ARRA - Capital Improvement Programs

| Quarterly Activities/Project Description |
In this quarter we requested an extension to 5/31/12 and was awarded. We procured workstations, laptops, and a couple of tablets (HP) to pilot for the EHR system. We are 100% spent for the ARRA CIP and 100% equipped. We are also able to use the system to see where we are on our IHS GPRA measures. As of this report we are on target to hit 100% of the measures. We have also started receing our EHR incentive payments for providers using the EHR accordingly. EDR is also being utilized in-clinic. One on One RPMS/EHR/iCare training with new and existing staff. Troubleshooting of all RPMS/EHR/iCare Clinical Program issues. Monitoring of new RPMS patches with ANTHC IT, loaded EHR Patch 9 and are continuing to achieve MU through use of our EHR. We are 100% installed, implemented, and staffed with the support team necessary. |
