System improvements and upgrades: Project improvements consists of the installation of approximately 8.5 miles of 8-inch and 6-inch PVC and HDPE transmission pipeline; installation of approximately 2 miles of 2-inch distribution pipeline; the construction of a 16' x 20' Water Treatment Plant expansion and installation of on 11 foot diameter greensand filter a the the North Water Treatment Plant (NWTP); replacement of the greensand media, operation gate valves and meters, misc. pumps and structural improvements of the NWTP and South Water Treatment Plant (SWTP).
