The Rural Development Rural Housing Service administers a Single Family Housing Guaranteed Loan Program (SFHGLP). The primary objective of the program is to assist eligible individuals obtain adequate, modest, decent, safe, and sanitary housing in rural areas. The increased funding level for SFHGLP through The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 has a corresponding need for increased oversight of lenders. The objective of the contract awarded is to support and contribute to the development, improvement and execution of analytical assessments, evaluations and reviews that fit the needs of the Agency. This will be accomplished through the following tasks:
* Task 1: Management Plan & Administration - initial transition activities upon award of the contract.
* Task 2: Lender/Servicer Reviews - will focus on Lender/Servicer operations and quality of servicing activities and will provide an analysis and measurement of the participating Lender/Servicers based on review findings and knowledge within the mortgage industry.
* Task 3: Reporting - will consist of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports to update the Agency on the status of ongoing tasks as well as the results of prior period reviews/analyses performed.
* Task 4: Special Reviews, Studies, & Technical Support - will consist of targeted Lender/Servicer reviews, data analysis of various items, and technical support for updating current and proposed Agency regulations, policies, procedures, and forms.
