Capital Improvement Program Grant awarded by HRSA. The project was used to improve technology infrastructure in health centers, including Electronic Health Records and Practice Management Systems as well a funding for a new telephone system for the Clinic. CFHC had used a non-FQHC focused HER/PMS system for nearly 8 years with increasing problems that were unresolvable. Upgrading to a ?State-of-the-Art? EHR system will allow CFHC providers and staff to more effectively provide patient care as well as meeting the requirements of ?Meaningful Use?. The telephone system used in the clinic was purchased used in 2001 and had reached the limit of expansion for the organization, in order to grow a newer and scalable telephone system was needed.
