TEXAS A & M UNIVERSITY
This grant provides funds for upgrading an existing nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectrometer that will provide the only cryoprobe at Texas A&M University. The cryoprobe will have significant impact on research and education both intra- and extramurally. The future careers of students will be impacted decisively by the ability to obtain data from state-of-the-art instrumentation that is currently not available at Texas A&M. In addition the instrument will be available to the surrounding smaller institutions of higher education.
