RAYTHEON TECHNICAL SERVICES COMPANY LLC
Raytheon provides operational and logistics support to the National Science Foundation (NSF) Office of Polar Programs in support of the United States Antarctic Program USAP. Our contract requires systems-type operations and project management skills and sustained attention. The work in Antarctica is significantly different than most any other place on Earth due to extreme climatological and remoteness factors. Raytheon provides an extensive array of procurement, logistics, station and ship operations, facilities management, IT/Communications, and other science support services. We are responsible for engineering, maintenance, construction and operation of all facilities located at the three permanent U.S. stations?the largest being McMurdo Station, a complex of almost 100 buildings that includes power, water and water desalinization plants, and numerous laboratories.
