DAVID EVANS AND ASSOCIATES, INC.
Consultant will provide conceptual design and cost estimating for recommended repairs to rehabilitate the Upper Chetco River Bridge on Forest Road 1376, Mile Point 12.3. Conceptual design will include the following:
? Evaluation and conclusions of the cause of excessive displacement of the bridge structure
? Evaluation of potential stabilization measures for the interpreted global failure at the north abutment
? Evaluation of repair measures required for the rehabilitation of the bridge structure
? Cost estimate of the recommended repair measures for the rehabilitation of the bridge and stabilization of the interpreted global failure at the north abutment
Consultant will proceed with recommended geotechnical solutions and implement the Plan-In-Hand (PIH) Design, Final Design, and Sign-Off Phases to include the following:
? Incorporate the geotechnical recommendations as detailed in the Structural Reconnaissance Concept Report, Upper Chetco River Bridge
? Prepare Special Contract Requirements (SCR), cost estiamte and construction schedule for the recommended geotechnical repairs
? Provide Quality Control activities for the recommended geotechnical repairs Consultant will proceed with recommended structural solutions and implement the Plan-In-Hand (PIH) Design, Final Design, and Sign-Off Phases to include the following:
? Incorporate the structural recommendations as detailed in the Structural Reconnaissance Concept Report, Upper Chetco River Bridge
? Prepare Special Contract Requirements (SCR), cost estiamte and construction schedule for the recommended structural repairs
? Provide Quality Control activities for the recommended structural repairs
