TODD CONSTRUCTION, INC.
The work to be performed under this project consists of providing the labor, equipment, and materials for mandatory, and optional items as shown on the Contract Documents. The mandatory work includes the removal and disposal of the 7 remaining Submerged Traveling Screens from the First Powerhouse Intake Deck, removal and disposal of the 6 Vertical Barrier Screens from Units 1 and 2 at the Bonneville First Powerhouse and removal and disposal of the Vertical Barrier Screen brackets within the intakes of all 10 Units of the Bonneville First Powerhouse. Mandatory work also includes demolition of the Juvenile Bypass System and it?s components from the Bonneville First Powerhouse. The demolition includes but is not limited to the removal of the orifice gates transportation channel end gate, dewatering screens, fish sampler, sections of the outfall pipe, emergency relief conduit, and pumps including the salvage of equipment that is listed in the demolition specification. The concrete demolition includes but is not limited to the removal of the Juvenile Bypass System wall in the Ice and Trash Sluiceway channel. Once the concrete has been removed, new concrete will be placed to provide better transportation channel conditions for downstream migrants. Other new concrete includes the fabrication of the concrete fill block (off site), and filling in the openings in the intake deck along with wall and floor penetrations in the pumphouse and fishladder.
