Goal 1: Increase enhanced services to women who are victims of crime through qualified staff
Objective 1.1: Immediately when the funding becomes available offer enhanced services through counseling and life-skill building services.
How accomplished:
1A. Native Village of Barrow will notify AWIC when funds are available. This has been accomplished.
1B. AWIC will hire qualified staff as outlined in the position descriptions. This has been accomplished.
Goal 2: Provide increased number of counseling sessions. This is being accomplished.
Objective 1.1: With the availability of more staff the number of counseling and life-skill sessions will increase. Counseling and life-skill sessions are being delivered.
How accomplished:
1A. Qualified staff will provide one-on-one and group counseling/life skills sessions. Staff is providing counseling/life skills sessions.
Goal 3: Is to increase the ability to provide services through training. This is pending but scheduled.
Objective 2.1: Send the staff to OVW trainings. This is pending.
How accomplished:
2A. As available AWIC staff, the NVB staff associated with the program, and/or tribal council will attend OVW trainings when they become available. This is pending, waiting on announcement of training.
2B. A travel report will be prepared by the attendee and shared with community organizations to share knowledge gained from the training. This is pending, waiting on announcement of training.
