GREAT LAKES DREDGE & DOCK COMPANY, LLC
This work funded by the award involves maintenance dredging of approximately 1.2 million cubic yards of material at the Mouth of the Columbia River, Coos Bay and the Columbia River to depths ranging from - 60 feet to -49 feet. The bulk of the material dredged at the Mouth of the Columbia River will be disposed at the Shallow Water Site, but some material may be directed towards the North Jetty Site or the Deep Water Site. The Columbia River maintenance material will be disposed in flow lane sites designated by the Corps. The Coos Bay material will be disposed of at Site F just north of the jetty at the near-shore portion of the site. The purpose dredging is to maintain channels for marine navigation.
