ADVANCED CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES LTD
Original Contract was awarded August 30, 2007: Contract was for the completion of foundation drilling and grouting at the Clearwater Dam in Piedmont, Missouri. This work is a continuation of Phase I which was completed Oct 15, 2007. The scope of this contract was to complete the foundation rock treatment down to elevation 325, 250 ft below the working platform, prior to the installation of the proposed cutoff wall. The lower 50 ft of the grout curtain is to be grouted to a value of 3 lugeons or less and the upper rock mass to a value of 10 lugeons or less. This type of work is highly technical in nature and will provide enormous amounts of valuable data to be used in the design and construction of the proposed cutoff wall (Phase II). Beginning with Modification P00012 executed May 6, 2009, ARRA funds were incorporated into the contract in order to provide for adjustments in quantity and scope of work required in order to meet the project objectives. The project was successfully completed, final reports have been submitted and the contractor is demobilized.
