Grants - AWARD SUMMARY

UNIVERSITY OF PUERTO RICO-MEDICAL SCIENCES CAMPUS

The specific goal of this supplement request is to provide research employment for Mrs. MarĂa del Rocio Castro. Mrs. Castro is a research specialist in the laboratory of my collaborator Dr. Sylvette Ayala-Torres. The project that sponsors Mrs. Castro (NCRR 5G12RR003035-23) will end on July 31, 2009 and if funds are not identified, Mrs. Castro will not be able to continue as an employee of the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus. This supplement not only will provide funds for continue employment of Mrs. Castro but will accelerate the pace in achieving the goals proposed in the parent grant.
