Project Activities Description Ambulatory & Primary Health Care
Quarterly Activities/Project Description With ARRA support the Hilltown Community Health Center medical staff who were hired and retained have been able to see 72 new medical patients this quarter for a cumulative total of 601 new patients and 6787 visits since the awarding of the grant. With the added billing and medical reception staff and the retained nursing and nutritionist positions we were able to increase the services provided and reduce the waiting time for appointments for patients.

Description of Jobs Created HCHC added a Primary Care Physician, an RN, a Medical Receptionist and a Billing Clerk through this grant. In addition we were able to retain three nurses and a Nurse, Practitioner, one Medical Assistant and a Nutritionist. During this quarter we expended a smaller percentage of the ARRA funds on the salary lines as we had front-loaded the costs for the first several quarters to get the program started. The actual number of jobs created and retained has remained the same (2.05), ARRA funds were used this quarter to support 0.96 FTE of those positions.
