HOQUIAM, CITY OF
The City of Hoquiam removed over 7,000 dry tons of accumulated biosolids in our wastewater lagoon which have accumulated over the last 30 years. The City diked the lagoon, and now can fill approximately 20 acres creating prime industrial waterfront development property. The existing lagoon is not lined and poses a threat to leach into the Chehalis River. The City also installed 2200 lineal feet of sewer force main adjacent to the lagoon.
