PUBLIC HEALTH, MASSACHUSETTS DEPT OF
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) received ARRA funding from the Centers for Disease Control to reduce preventable Hospital Acquired Infections (HAIs). This funding is a supplemental award to an earlier federal grant that DPH received for an existing epidemiology and laboratory infectious diseases work.
This award will supplement MDPH's efforts to disseminate evidence-based practices within hospitals through the National Health Care Safety Network (NHSN). All efforts are dedicated at prevention, identification, and systemic response to the incidence of HAI.
