Provide independent, subject matter expertise I the area of nuclear facility safety to the DOE project teams in an effort to ensure Brookhaven Site Office of Environmental Management clean up operations are conducted and maintained in a safe and compliant manner. Project that are the subject of this support are the final decommissioning operations of both the Brookhaven Graphite Research Reactor and the High Flux Beam Reactor. Key deliverables include: 1) Preliminary reports and final reports that document overall review process, results (findings and observations), conclusions and recommended actions; 2) Tracking and status reports on follow-up/recommended actions; 3) Final closeout report documenting completion of recommended actions as required; 4) Review Environmental plans required under CERCLA and other regulatory requirements; 5) ORR/RA oversight plans of action and implementation plans; 6) Listing of documents required by DOE Order 413.3A upon the completion of the BGRR and HFBR projects; 7) Compiled documentation package for the submittal to EM/HQ.
