| Quarterly Activities/Project Description |
The goal of of this project was achieved by removing and replacing steam and condensate lines that had out lived their working time frame. This Project eliminated repaired sections, and provided a consistent more energy efficient steam system that will extend the life of the facility. Below is a list of work activities that were completed during this project:
Mobilization Effort 100% complete
Install Temporary Steam 100% complete,
Demolition of Existing Concrete 100% complete,
New Steam/Condensate Trench Excavation 100% complete,
Demolition of existing Steam/Condensate Line 100% complete,
Asbestos Abatement 100% complete,
Install New Steam/Condensate Lines in Manholes 100% complete,
Install New Steam/Condensate Lines in Trench 100% complete,
Install New Steam/Condensate Lines in Buildings 100% complete,
New Steam and Condensate Pipe Testing 100% complete,
New Steam and Condensate Pipe Insulation 100% complete,
Trench Backfill 100% complete,
Form and Pour Concrete Sidewalks 100% complete,
Final Site and Grade Work 100% complete,
Demobilization 100% complete.
The new systems installation has established a new baseline for future maintenance and operation and extended the life of the facility. This project is 100% complete. |
