PHILADELPHIA HOUSING AUTHORITY
The CFRC award will result in the new construction of 101 new construction walkup-type public housing rental units, infrastructure improvements, community room, management office, other non-residential space. The unit mix will consist of 25 one-bedroom units, 45 two-bedroom units, and 31 three-bedroom units. This funding can be expected to substantially improve public housing in terms of availability of affordable housing units for low income individuals and families. This funding can be expected to result in employment opportunities for architects, engineers, carpenters, electricians, painters, plumbers, roofers, landscapers, masons, product manufacturers, construction workers, and other workers.
