During these visits activities are planned together with families to foster each child's development, increase family literacy, and promote healthy parent-child relationships. If the mom is pregnant, at the visits, the importance of prenatal care is discussed along with benefits of breat feeding and oral health. The women in the ORW (Ohio Reformatory for Women) are receiving weekly home visits and twice a month the have socializations. We currently have 3 full time Family Service Workers.
