ARRA SBDD Georgia Technology Authority(GTA)
The purpose of this project is to provide the National Telecommunications and Information Administration NTIA (Dept Commerce)and Georgia Public/Private sector stakeholders with broadband mapping and data collection, analysis, and broadband mapping display services for the State of Georgia residents, businesses, and community anchor institutions. The GTA Broadband office operations will utilize planning funds to promote sustainable adoption throughout the state as a part of this project's deliverable.

* Transition from One Economy to Sanborn as data collection and mapping contractor
* Service provider outreach activities

* completion of data set collection and verification for Data set 7.
Capacity Building
* Continued development of Universal Funding Reform analysis and recommendations for the state to encourage rural broadband deployment under USF reform.
* Completed the Capacity Development project plan and reviewed with the National Telecommunications and Information Administration
Local and Regional Planning
* Executed contract with Central Savanna Regional Commission for managing regional planning project.
* Executed sub agreements with 3 additional regional commissions for project implementation
* Submitted regional planning project template to the National Telecommunications and Information Administration for review
* Completed the planning template, gathered the necessary support across twelve Regional Commissions through multiple meetings
* Gathered support from stakeholders including the Department of Public Health and the Department of Community of Affairs.
Overall Program
* Reviewed Budget Amendment with the National Telecommunications and Information Administration, preparing to submit amendment package to NTIA and the National Institute of Standards and Technology
