| Quarterly Activities/Project Description |
This project will replace the structurally deficient bridge on SR 135/US 221 over Tiger Creek in Coffee County. The existing 108 X 24' bridge was constructed in 1947 and will be replaced with a new 180' X 44' reinforced concrete bridge. The existing approaches consist of two12' travel lanes, grassed shoulders and open ditches. The proposed approaches will consist of two12' travel lanes, 10' shoulders (6.5' paved), and open ditches. The project is located in Coffee County approximately 6 miles northeast of Douglas, Georgia. The proposed project will be 1,400.00 feet (0.27 miles), in length. |
