In support of the American Samoa Immunization Program, this award will be used to design and deploy outreach immunization activities ensuring that all children and adults get vaccinated with all ACIP recommended immunizations. The shortage of nurses over the years has impacted a lot of immunization activities such as decreased immunization clinic days, less vaccine usage and a gradual decline of immunization coverage rates. It is imperative for the American Samoa Immunization Program to implement planned immunization activities to make immunization as accessible as ever to the people of the Territory.
