ARRA-317 Immunization and Vaccines for Children Grants, Supplemental Funding for Reaching More Children and Adults. These ARRA-317 funds supplement our ongoing 317 Immunization activities and will allow us to reach more children and adults with immunization services thus increasing vaccine coverage. Specific activities supported by these funds include the development and distribution of a National Immunization Handbook, handbook orientation for nursing staff and providers, enhancement of the immunization registry (WebIZ), and targeted immunization outreach to underserved children in the outer islands.

Quarterly Activities/Project Description Due to the recent dengue outbreak in RMI, we encounter delays in our activities. The following activities have been accomplished for this quarter: 1. 20,000 copies of Immunization Yellow Cards were printed for distribution 2. Procurement of 6 laptops and 5 desktops that are distributed to offices that are involved in the data entry in WebIZ. 3. House to house immunization catch up campaign on Majuro and outreach immunization activities in the Outer Islands were conducted. 4. Printing of RMI National Immunization Program Handbook.
