WARNER CREEK CO
Wildlife tree creation through chainsaw topping. Small tree topping for the purpose of creating wildlife forage and nesting habitat. Treatments will result in standing dead and live snags clumped in groups and distributed throughout project area of previously thinned and snag deficient forest. Trees are climbed to a height of 55-100' and topped by chainsaw leaving either 2-4 live limbs (for dead snags) or 15-25 live limbs (for standing live snags). A total of 1971 wildlife trees will be created.
