The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (ETA), Office of Financial and Administrative Services, Office of Human Resources (OHR) is looking for consulting and technical support to help achieve urgent legislative requirements. ETA must quickly implement new program provisions. ETA's Office of Human Resources (OHR) has the lead role to support DOL through filling positions and providing other assistance as appropriate. This added workload has greatly strained the capacity of ETA OHR.
As a result, the ETA Office of Human Resources requires a full-time HR consultant. The consultant will be responsible for providing consulting and advisory services to OHR across a range of areas from recruiting practices through classification. The HR consultant's will assist ETA's Office of Human Resources in meeting its increased workload to recruit, staff, and classify positions. The consultant is expected to be familiar enough with competitive sourcing, performance management, pay-setting, and other HR-related topics to help OHR ensure applications are properly evaluated and certificates are developed. The consultant must be competent in his/her understanding and use of PeopleSoft, DOORS, Word, Excel and Internet Explorer. This consultant will be assigned to the ETA Office of Human Resources full time. |
