CITY OF AUSTIN
Energy efficiency activities in City owned facilities in Austin, Texas. These measures are divided into 6 activities:
1. Energy Conservation Retrofits in the City of Austin Technicenter Building (HVAC and Controls Retrofits),
2. Exterior Lighting Retrofit and Demonstration Projects in City of Austin Facilities (Parking garage and area lighting),
3. Hornsby Bend Biogas Green Power Project (New biogas power generation equipment),
4. High Efficiency Interior Lighting and Controls Retrofits in City of Austin facilities (relamping with new high efficiency T8 lamps, lighting retrofits, and lighting controls installations),
5. Recommissioning of City of Austin Buildings (Recommissioning of large City facilities and the installation of programmable thermostats in smaller City facilities), and
6. Weatherization and Duct Sealing in City of Austin facilities (Audits and implementation of building envelope, insulation, and duct sealing in light commercial and residential type City facilities).
