This expenditure is to upgrade the infrastructure of a drinking water pump station. It will ensure adequate quality drinking water to residents and commercial users, as well as increrased water pressure for local fire hydrants, for the next thirty years. In addition, it will help stabilize our district's budget without adding significant tax increases to pay for such a project. The North Tiverton Fire District is a quasi-municipal government agency, independent of town and state government, that is chartered with supplying and distributing water throughout the district. |
