SIOUX CITY, CITY OF
The EECBG will be used for a traffic signal synchronization program. The energy efficiency revolving loan fund will incentivize energy efficient capital purchase among local commercial and industrial companies with a maximum package of $25,000. The Traffic signal synchronization program will be an investment into the City of Sioux City's infrastructure and will reduce vehicle consumption (68,000 gallons of fuel annually) and vehicle emissions (37 tons of CO2 annually) by synchronizing traffic signals on four traffic corridors.
