The construction for this Project is 100% complete and the area was occupied by the VA on 5/16/10. There are still outstanding schedule and delay issues that need to be resolved to close the project out, which is why a final report is not being submitted and project not reported at 100% complete. The work completed is Phase 1 (Medical Gas and Valve Relocation), Phase 2 (Lounge/Nourishment), and Phase 3 (Meds), Phase 4 (Closet), Phase 5 (Main Lounge), and Phase 6 (All Remaining Work to tie Phases together). The scope of work for the phases generally involves new plumbing, electrical, nurse call, framing, drywall, paint, flooring, ceiling grid, casework, countertops and all associated work and utilities. This is an active area of the hospital that is in use so all phases have been occupied by the VA staff and patients. |
