FORCE 1 CONSTRUCTION GROUP, INC.
The Cougar Regulating Outlet slide gates are comprised of two service
gates, and two emergency gates. The gates are controlled with a hydraulic
power system rated at 1800 psi. The system currently experiences
vibration/pulsing during gate operation, as well as severe hammering when
two gates are operated at the same time. Contractor will be responsible
for the design and installation of a new hydraulic power unit, associated
piping, and electrical panels/controls. The new system shall have the same
essential functionality and control of the existing system at Blue River
with upgrades to eliminate the existing system deficiencies experienced at
Cougar. The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, tools, equipment
and materials (except as indicated otherwise in the specifications) and
perform all work in strict accordance with these specifications and plans.
