| Quarterly Activities/Project Description |
Contract 1A mechanical startups for the mechanical screen, vortex grit, SBR and aeration systems have been completed. The preliminary treatment building and secondary treatment tanks are fully constructed. Improvements to the Operations building are 95% complete. Installation of major process equipment is completed, along with 95% of process piping. Contractor is 80% complete with the waterproofing of the secondary treatment tanks. Startup of the treatment processes remains, along with finish work in the preliminary, secondary and operations process buildings and some grading, excavation and backfilling for new structures. Contract 1A is approximately 86% complete. Contract 1B has finish work only remaining and is working on punch-list items. Contract 1B is approximately 90% complete. Contract 1C has completed the removal of the existing HVAC systems and is 95% complete with the installation of new ductwork and HVAC equipment. Remaining work includes the geothermal ground loop heating system, which will be completed in the spring of 2013. Contract 1C is approximately 50% complete. Contract 1D Electrical Construction has continued finish wiring of electrical systems for the preliminary, secondary and disinfection treatment systems. System testing remains, along with exterior lighting for the sludge drying beds and troubleshooting of the new electrical system when it is fully started up. Contract 1D is approximately 80% complete. |
