Quarterly Activities/Project Description Implemented School Improvement "Turnaround Intervention Model" which 1) replaced 50% of the staff and principal; 2)implemented a new governance structure for the school; 3) developed high-quality job-embedded professional development transforming the school into an International Baccalaureate PYP magnet program; 4) extending the school day; and, 5) implemented a pay for performance incentive program for school staff. Implemented School Improvement Transformation model which 1) established a Freshman Academy for incoming students; 2) implemented a pay for performance incentive programt for staff; 3) providing and extended school day; and, 4) developed a new principal/teacher evaluation system linking student achievement to teacher perfomance.
