| Quarterly Activities/Project Description |
During this past reporting period Wright State Research Institute (WSRI) HealthLink continued 24x7 production activities by submitting electronic Continuity of Care Documents (CCDs) to the Social Security Administration (SSA) for our two provider groups. Wright State is upgrading the gateway to CONNECT 3.3. We have also developed a C62 capability to send scanned documents and images to the SSA. Testing with the SSA began in October 2012. We continue to address ways to add new providers and evaluate linking to a regional exchange which will allow access to medical information within regional hospitals. WSRI HealthLink continues as an active participant on the ONC Coordinating Committee and supports multiple teams and work groups of the Nationwide Health Information Network (NwHIN). |
