Area: 20,896sf
Base Bid Work: Install new Mechanical, Electrical and Fire protection System, plumbing for a new break area, apply new finishes to the floors and walls, install manual operable partition between the new multi-purpose room and the new training room, install work stations (under separate contract from that of the Contractor) construct two (2) offices and stock room, install new ceiling grid and recess mounted light fixtures.
Option 1: Some of the fan coil unit supply and return branch piping is corroded. The piping to the fan coil units also runs in the drywall enclosures. Contractor shall verify the piping condition and replace the piping, piping insulation and pipe hangers. In addition the contractor shall install ball valves and pipe fittings for connection to new fan coil units. The new pipe insulation shall be enclosed cell polyurethane insulation. The installation work may require patching of the spray fire resistive material and repair of drywall column enclosures. Based on field conditions, the area of repair may vary for each fan coil unit.
