COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER OF FRANKLIN COUNTY
Project Title: ARRA Capital Improvement Program, Award 01-Renovation and equipping of a new site in Greenfield MA 01301. Approval from DPH for the architect plans was received on July 5, 2011. Construction commenced during July and by the end of December was 100% complete. The health center moved its medical and administration teams from Turners Falls to Greenfield on October 14, 2011. The health center opened for patients on October 17, 2011. Currently, the health center is trending 3 to 5 new patients a week. Our grant has been fully expended, with 71% spent on construction, architecture and licensure fees. The remaining 29% was spent on a new phone system, furniture, medical equipment, supplies and administrative time necessary to complete the project.
