MASSACHUSETTS HOUSING INVESTMENT CORPORATION
The overall purpose of the award is to facilitate the reclamation of foreclosed and abandoned properties in distressed communities throughout Massachusetts. It is anitcipated that 228 units willl be reclaimed by using a combination of rehab loan subsidy and homebuyer fnancing assistance. Approximately 20% of the units will be used to house individuals or families whose incomes do not exceed 50% percent of area median income.
