MUNICIPALITY OF GUAYNABO
For bus expansion, signage, and project administration. The project is for eight 10 year useful life 35 ft., 35 passenger capacity buses at a cost of $182,000 each and a total of $1,456,000. The project will also provide for the purchase of 7 year useful life that are less than 30 feet for 18 passenger small buses to expand the transit service to southern wards of Guaynabo at $95,000 each and a total cost of $285,000. The project will also provide for the purchase of three Pratransit cutaway 16 passenger small buses with a useful life of 5 years to meet ADA Paratransit Program requirements and expand service to the entire Municipality at a cost of $240,000. 120 transit stop signs will be installed at a cost of $125 each and $16,000 in total along the Guaynabo City Transit routes. 1% Security expenditure of radio communication system will be installed on all 15 transit system vehicles and the transportation center at a cost of $20,000 to improve system security. The expense is included as a part of the vehicles cost in all of the purchase cost estimates mentioned before. The Grant administration funds amount to $4000 to comply with ARRA and other FTA reporting and procurement procedures.
