Update A/E Services for Kitchen Renovations at David F. Roche Apts./ Dumont, NJ
Work consists of kitchen renovations in all apts. and the community. The work includes replacement of kitchen cabinets and counter tops; sink, faucet, drain and angle stops; VCT flooring; new ceramic wall tile; new lighting, paint etc. The contract was awarded to DNL, Inc. for a total lump sum of $ 365,200.00. A Notice to Proceed was issued to the contractor with a start date of May 17, 2010 and completion by January 4, 2011. Work will begin once material is in stock.
ADA Compliant Signs for all Public Housing Buildings
All signs to be installed are with custom raised copy Braille, for various common areas and entrances in the designated buildings. The signs have been ordered, and will be installed once in stock.
Door Card Access System Upgrades at Various Public Housing Bldgs.
The vendor is to supply and install new access control door systems and software to operate all doors with power supplies as suggested by manufacturer. The contract was awarded to Advanced Video Surveillance and he has ordered all material. Once in stock, he will schedule to begin the installation.
Community Garden Upgrade at David F. Roche Apts.
The scope of work includes supplying and installing decorative block to create garden plots in two areas for use by the tenants. The contract was awarded to Raymond Brothers Landscaping, and work is scheduled to start in the beginning of May.
Fire Sprinkler System Installation at Boiling Springs Gardens
The work includes the installation of a branch sprinkler piping system off existing risers, new dropped ceilings and lighting,
