NEW YORK POWER AUTHORITY
The main objective of this project is to demonstrate how Dynamic Thermal Circuit Rating (DTCR) Technology can be effectively deployed and practically integrated into transmission system engineering, operations, and planning of the New York Power Authority (NYPA) and furthermore the operations of the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO). Another objective is to assess the technical and operational feasibility of DTCR Technology, and the expected improvement of system and market efficiency due to increased circuit utilization or reliability, particularly during periods when wind generation is high.
